Vedic Chanting - Nada Empowerment
Organized by Shruti Foundation, Delhi, conducted by Shruti

In Indian musical theory there are 2 kinds of sound, one a vibration of the ether (unstruck anahata)the other a vibration of the air (struck ahata). The  struck, intelligible sound is ‘Nada’ and is said to result from the union of physical breath (Na) with the fire of intellect(Da). Mantra is that form of Nada, either expressed as sound or as dynamic silence which leads the hearer or practioner into deep meditation through repetition (japa) of the Mantra.

Mantric chanting harmonizes the subtle nervous system (nadis) and chakaras, leads to an alteration of brain waves and multilayered healing and well being.

This workshop teaches us the essence of Nada Empowerment – how to consciously experience our inner and outer vibrations to transform and heal ourselves. This workshop includes

Understanding Nada in the Vibrational Body
Beeja Mantras for Healing
Influence of music on parts of the body

The effect of Chanting on the brain
Mantric healing for specific diseases
Learning chants for specific purposes.
